INEWSBC | Katatura Fashion Week took place this past weekend at the Franco Namibian Cultural Centre and showcased memorable collections.
With the theme being Fusing Culture with Fashion designers incorporated African into their work and also created Haute Couture traditional attire.
Designer Inamariaeshito Shikongo who brought artivism to the runway with her designs which incorporated activism to bring light to the fossil fuel industry in the world but mainly in Namibia.
Other designers like Immanuel Garoeb from The House of Tsatago showcased sensual metallics on the runway with very revealing pieces that left little to nothing on the imagination.
Among the designers were Mala Kalip from I am Fashion, Teresa a designer from Angola and Chenjerai Muchincam from Zimbabwe.
The two day event was hosted by Delila Katanga and showcased a lot designers who showcased their collections under the theme Fusing Culture with Fashion.
